Chekhov’s text is brought to life with a new creativity and a contemporary sense of humor. The performance of three actors really brings the absurdity of the situations and infantilism of the characters to the front. The situation of a sight-specific performance, with the audience being the guests and witnesses in the home of the main characters makes the play intimate and hilarious. The acting is a bravura of comic characters with real, human feelings, with a lot of improvisation.
