This is the second time I directed Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett. This time it was a collaboration between Ernst Busch Hochschule f. Schauspielkunst and the Ecole du TNS. 

It meant working on two foreign languages: German with my colleagues, and French with the actors. Despite, or because of this language barriers, it resulted in a beautiful and visually comprehensive performance. It proved to me, once again, that the language of theater is more than the language of words.
